The Stringfellow Acid Pits, located in the Glen Avon area of Jurupa Valley, is the subject of a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) "Superfund" clean-up. The site is physically located within the City limits of Jurupa Valley, but is not being managed by City.
