Foreclosed Residential Property Registration
The City of Jurupa Valley has become increasingly concerned with the growing number of abandoned and distressed residential properties, and the threat this poses to public peace, health, and safety of the citizens of this City. Therefore the City Council has enacted Ordinance No.2012-05, which took effect July 7, 2012. The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a registration program for foreclosed residential properties to provide contact information for lenders and others acquiring such property, encourage them to obtain agents to deal with such property, and enforce maintenance and security standards whether such property has been neglected during the foreclosure process, has been abandoned, or otherwise neglected.
