Over $24 million worth of pavement rehabilitation or reconstruction has been identified for local roads throughout the City. At the City Council Meeting on June 2, 2016, the Council approved the use of bond funding for an extensive pavement rehabilitation program. In total, $9 million was approved by the Council. These bonds have been issued and are now available for the City to use.
The City split the program into eight phases of pavement rehabilitation or reconstruction of local neighborhood roadways. Please see the above map for where these projects will be taking place for a visual illustration. Each of the phases will target roughly $1 million in roadway work.
