"It is not if, but when" - Do you know what it takes to be prepared when an emergency situation occurs? Safety and Readiness can help to inform you about:

  • Education
  • Emergency kit
  • Emergency planning
  • External resources
  • Professional guest speakers
  • Their efforts on spreading this information to the community

National Walk to School Day

Current/Upcoming projects include:

Drug Free Community Work Group 

  • Meets every third Thursday 12 to 1 p.m. (The hour before the Safety and Readiness meeting)
  • Provides information and enhances skills to decrease youth substance abuse
  • Partners with local agencies to decrease access to drugs in the community

Youth Engagement in Tobacco Use Prevention Grant
