The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed cases of Asian Citrus Psyllid and Huanglongbing (HLB) in our area. HLB does not pose a threat to humans or animals, but the disease poses a risk to our citrus trees. To protect your lemons, oranges, and limes, the CDFA recommends the following:
- Inspect your citrus trees regularly for signs of illness.
- Report any unusual symptoms to local officials immediately.
- Stay informed on best practices for care and maintenance.
- Residents of affected areas will be contacted directly by CDFA staff.
