A Message from the City of Jurupa Valley: Jurupa Valley Responds to Immigration Enforcement and Public Demonstrations

JURUPA VALLEY, CALIF. --- The City of Jurupa Valley is aware of recent federal immigration enforcement actions taking place across Southern California, as well as the resulting public demonstrations that are impacting communities throughout our region. We recognize the fear, concern, and uncertainty that these events are causing for many in our community.

We want to reaffirm that Jurupa Valley remains a safe, inclusive, and welcoming city for all—regardless of immigration status. The City and its employees do not participate in federal immigration enforcement activities. Furthermore, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco has publicly stated that his deputies will not be involved in immigration enforcement actions.

In times like these, staying informed and understanding your rights is crucial. We encourage all residents to learn more by exploring the resources provided in the links attached to this message. Knowledge and preparedness can empower and protect families navigating these difficult circumstances.

Most importantly, please remember: you are not alone. Jurupa Valley was built on the strength and unity of its people. Just as we came together to form our City and weathered the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will face this moment with the same spirit of community and resilience.

Together, we will endure—and together, we will continue to thrive.

With unity and support,
The City of Jurupa Valley
