Notice of Public Hearing: Development Impact Fees on January 21, 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Jurupa Valley, California, will conduct a public hearing at the City Council Chamber, 8930 Limonite Avenue in said City of Jurupa Valley on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. or thereafter to consider the following:

PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SEC. 3.75.080 OF THE JURUPA VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE ADOPTING NEW AND INCREASED DEVELOPER IMPACT FEES BASED ON THE NEXUS REPORT FOR THE NEW AND INCREASED DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES AND AMENDING SECTION 3.75.080 OF THE JURUPA VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE. ON JANUARY 11, 2021 THE PUBLIC DATA INDICATING THE ESTIMATED COST OF THE FACILITY AND THE REVENUE SOURCES ANTICIPATED TO FUND THE FACILITY, INCLUDING GENERAL FUND REVENUES, THE PROPOSED DIF, AND THE NEXUS REPORT WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC ON THE CITY’S WEBSITE (HTTPS://WWW.JURPAVALLEY.ORG).

In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Orders and the Riverside County Department of Public Health requirements, this meeting will be closed to the public. You may watch the live webcast at this link: https://www.jurupavalley.org/422/Meeting-Videos Public email comments may be submitted to the City Clerk at CityClerk@jurupavalley.org. Members of the public are encouraged to submit email comments prior to 6:00 p.m. the day of the meeting, but email comments must be submitted prior to the item being called by the Mayor. The City Clerk shall announce all email comments, provided that the reading shall not exceed three (3) minutes, or such other time as the Council may provide, because this is the time limit for speakers at a Council Meeting. Comments on Agenda items during the Council Meeting can only be submitted to the City Clerk by email. The City cannot accept comments on Agenda items during the Council Meeting on Facebook, social media or by text.

If you challenge any portion of this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered at, or prior to, the public hearing.
