The City Council approved $40,000 to be utilized for approved mini-grant funding for projects benefitting the residents residing within Jurupa Valley. Non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for the Community Service Grant Funding. The deadline to apply is Monday, May 16, 2022. Learn more and download an application here.

Bulky Item, E-Waste & More Collection Event: Saturday, April 23

Bring your solid waste, green waste, bulky items, and e-waste for disposal to the free Jurupa Valley Community Cleanup event on Saturday, April 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The two locations are: 1?? Patriot High School | 4355 Camino Real 2?? Jurupa Valley High School | 10551 Bellegrave Ave.

Food Giveaway: Saturday, April 23

The United Sikh Mission is holding a free food giveaway on Saturday, April 23, from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. at the USM food pantry (5626 Mission Blvd).
The first 500 people can choose from either a plate of food or a box of fruits and vegetables.

District 4 Community Meeting: Tuesday, April 26

To increase transparency and public engagement, we are hosting Town Hall Meetings throughout the city.
The first meeting of the year will discuss public safety, developments, and much more taking place in District 4 with district representative Mayor Pro-Tem Leslie Altamirano.

Volunteer for the Upcoming Community Clean-Up: Saturday, April 30
|
|
|
|
|
In partnership with the Lions Club, the upcoming District 4 Community Clean-Up event is Saturday, April 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers will check in at the Jurupa Valley Operations Center (5293 Mission Blvd.) to pick up gloves, trash bags, tools, and maps of designated clean-up locations.
This event is a great way for students to complete their community service hours!

The Grand Encampment: Saturday, June 4 - Sunday, June 5

Feel the ROAR of the cannon, hear the sound of artillery fire! Come experience battle re-enactments, see period encampments, check-out vintage vehicles, and much more during The Grand Encampment event. The event will take place on June 4 and June 5 at Flabob Airport. This is hands-on fun for the whole family!

Veterans Parade: Saturday, November 12

Save the date for this year's Veterans Parade on Saturday, November 12. The parade will honor those who have served, and lead into Flabob Airport's annual Veterans Celebration with entertainment, skydivers, reenactments, and much more.
