Resource Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Thursday, March 23

Join Reach Out for its grand opening of the Jurupa Valley Resource Center on March 23, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will feature food trucks, live music, face painting, community resources, vaccine clinics, and a tour of the new facility.

Veterans Housing

Habitat for Humanity Riverside is building 26 new, energy-efficient, single-family homes in Jurupa Valley dedicated to veterans, reservists, and families of the fallen.

There are 2 floor plans available, a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom and a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom. All floor plans can be adjusted to be ADA-compliant for disabled veterans and their family members.

Adventure Garden Clean-up: Saturday, March 25

Join Reach Out and Healthy Jurupa Valley for an Adventure Garden clean-up on Saturday, March 25. The clean-up is from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will be located behind Robidoux Library (5840 Mission Blvd.). To volunteer, please contact jesus@we-reachout.org or call (951) 542-1156.

Tacos and Taxes: Saturday, March 25

Come and enjoy tacos while your taxes are prepared for free. This workshop will provide free tax assistance to qualified households, along with other community resources, and will be located at Reach Out's Jurupa Valley office at 8300 Limonite Ave., Suite F.

The event will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25. To schedule your appointment, call (951) 371-6860. The last appointment will take place at 2:00 pm.

Proof of income, including W-2s and 1099s
Documentation of deductible expenses
Form of Government
Identification
Social Security Number or ITIN

Jurupa Valley Storywalk: Saturday, April 1

Join Reach Out and Healthy Jurupa Valley for Jurupa Valley's Storywalk on Saturday, April 1. The event will take place behind the Louis Robidoux Library, 5840 Mission Blvd., from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will feature fun activities, giveaways, live performances, and the heartwarming story of Lani Rae's Marvelous Hair.

JARPD Spring Fling: Saturday, April 1st

Join the Jurupa Valley Recreation and Park District for a free Spring Fling event Saturday, April 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Taking place at Shadow Rock Park (6598 20th St.), the event will feature games, vendors, and an egg hunt.
