Bulky Item Cleanup: Saturday, April 29

Say goodbye to your bulky trash items, electronic waste, green waste, and solid waste! ?? Join us for a FREE collection event on Saturday, April 29, from 8:00 a.m. - Noon at Patriot High School (4355 Camino Real). 

Accepted items to dispose of include chairs, mattresses, electronics, furniture, tree branches, and more. Please note that hazardous waste can not be collected at this event.

Health Fair: Thursday, April 13

Stop by the Eddie Dee Smith Center for a Health Fair on Thursday, April 13, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. This event is a FREE community health resource, including check-ups conducted in collaboration with various organizations through Riverside County.

Bain St. Beautification Outreach Survey

We're looking for your input! The City of Jurupa Valley is submitting a grant application through Clean California for a beautification project on Bain Street from Galena Street to Jurupa Road, and we need your assistance. Take part in the community survey today by clicking here.

The scope of the beautification project along the Bain Street trail will aim to:

•  Increase ground cover and shade through the installation of trees and plants
• Replace the existing wooden fence, and replace the sand trail with decomposed granite

The goal of the project is to provide you with a beautiful trail ideal for walking, biking, and horseback riding.

Townhall Meeting: Wednesday, April 19

Join Mayor Barajas, City staff, and partner agencies on Wednesday, April 19, at Flabob Airport for the District 5 Town Hall Meeting. Learn about upcoming development projects, public safety, and much more taking place throughout District 5. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

JARPD's Meet the Machines: Saturday, April 15

Fire trucks, ambulances, police vehicles, and more! Come Meet the Machines as well as those who operate them. Enjoy career-specific experiences and a dress-up photobooth. Food trucks and vendors will also be present. The event takes place Saturday, April 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Skyview Event Center parking lot (5257 Wineville Ave.).

Mayor's Prayer Breakfast: Thursday, May 4

In observance of the National Day of Prayer, Mayor Chris Barajas will be speaking at the Indian Hills Country Club on May 4th. This event will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and will include inspirational words from guest speakers as well as a delicious breakfast.
