The City is offering the Local Economic Assistance Program (LEAP) to small and micro-enterprise businesses in the community. The LEAP program is financed with Federal funds from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
Eligible businesses have the opportunity to receive up to $10,000 in grant funds. To qualify, the business must either (a) hire or (b) retain at least one full-time employee within the low-moderate income bracket established by HUD. Applications are processed on a "first come, first served basis" contingent upon funding availability.

Income limits are described in the graphic below and determined by the size of the family (self + dependents) of the employee that's hired or retained.
