Thank you for reviewing and commenting on the 2023 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Draft.
The City of Jurupa Valley will send the updated LHMP to the Riverside County Emergency Management Department, which will forward it to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CAL OES) for review before being submitted to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Once staff receives an “Approval Pending Adoption” letter from FEMA, staff will take the plan to local governing bodies for adoption. Upon approval, the City of Jurupa Valley will insert the signed resolution.
